Justin came over for a hard drive... so, instead of turning off my computer, I just ripped it out of my system... but I unplugged the wrong one first :/ so, I turned off the computer and unplugged the right drive... then turned the computer back on and it said there was no boot disc... so I tried booting from a windows CD to repair the MBR... but windows setup found no hard drive... so I tried booting from a floppy... no hard drive... wiggling the cables again, I realized the drive came unplugged from the motherboard...
Justin gave me some homemade beef jerky in exchange for the drive :)

OK, I am not getting enough sleep. Reinstalling MovableType tonight is just one of the things that keeps me up.
Bleurgh...

I swear, if I have to make one more dice roller or coin flipper for my Visual BASIC .NET class, I'm gonna flip out.
I want to learn to make something useful, dammit!

Despite the fact that I bought a T-Mobile phone, Catherine Zeta-Jones has not yet visited me. :-/
I've spent the last week or so fooling around with my new phone, the Sony-Ericsson T68i and I must say that I love it. I was afraid it would be hard to use because that's what I've read on the 'Net. Its menu system is supposed to be a nightmare.
After about an hour, I (having never before owned a cellphone (maybe to my benefit)) mastered the phone's navigation.
For the life of me, I couldn't get my Sony Clie to beam via Infrared my contacts to the phone. I did a soft-reset of the Clie and it works now.
I've got my T-Zones set up to check my email, but, ummmm... that's a terrible idea, because, not only does it have an email client, but I get an SMS (and thus, a ring and a vibrate) for every piece of spam I get. I gotta turn that off...
I love this phone. It has built-in Bluetooth. I can't afford a Bluetooth PDA, so I'm waiting patiently for my money to accumulate so that I can buy a Mac and use iSync.
Now, about that money... I've learned that my job is likely to be terminated on May 31, or, as the memo said, my "appointment" will "end". *Sniffle*

Ok, as you may or may not have noticed, my main page has been valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and valid CSS for a few days. I'm working on getting all my pages to be compliant.
Why, you may ask, am I doing this to my site? Because I want to. And because there's no reason not to. Everybody, regardless of ability, should have access to the web.
Other News:
I'm going to Otakon with Amy this August. Tom's going too. Hopefully, Laine's coming and bringing her friends Jon and Chad.
