Cool news.
Hall Director Carrie emailed me back and said that I was approved to live on campus for a week beyond the end of the semester. I needed to do this so that I didn't have to drive 2 hours a day in the snow for two weeks during semester break. Carrie said I'd have to do some Res Life stuff, like deal with Lock outs, but that's not a big deal

Carrie, the Hall Director for the Living Center, called me to her office today. I was like, "uh, ok," but she asked me if I was interested in being a Resident Assistant next semester! I was like "Yes!"
Meenu, from the 3rd floor, is going to be a Disney intern next semester, so I'm taking her place. Schweet. Plus, Carrie is gonna let me keep working 20 hours at Bb Support. Score!
Also, we had a Health and Safety Inspection today. We passed, but Creepy Mike didn't scrub the shower in the big bathroom enough.

Apple has updated both its laptop lines! Along with those updates have come price drops. The iBook now has up to an 800 MHz G3 processor and 32 MB of VRAM in an ATI Mobile Radeon 7500.
The PowerBook now has up to a 1 GHz processor, a SuperDrive, and 64 MB of VRAM in an ATI Mobile Radeon 9000.
I plan to buy a PowerBook. It will be my first Mac. God, I love OS X.
Secondly,
JC Chasez of *NSYNC will be going solo! Good for him! His first single will be "Blowing Me Up (With Your Love)" and should be released early next month. This song is from the soundtrack of "Drumline" the motion picture. The movie is released December 13; see the soundtrack in stores on December 10.
Fish Update: Pez is still floatin' sideways in the bowl. What is this now... 3 weeks?
Pez, my fish died late last Sunday night. I hadn't changed his water in a while, but he didn't seem to mind. No food for a weekend when I went home is what did him in. I haven't pulled him out of the bowl yet. I should schedule a funeral...
The Halloween party was ok, I guess. To me, a party is a small group of close friends. I don't dance, and I don't like hip-hop or R&B, so I had 1 slice of pizza (not too much food) and one glass of punch (cups were gone an hour in to the party) and sat around until the party was over.
I'm gonna update to MOVABLETYPE 2.5.1 tonight and hopefully finish reading David Drake's Lord of the Isles.
It's Halloween. I'm wearing my Renaissance costume, which consists of an orange raw silk poet's shirt and black leggings (ok, tights) and my cloak. Eh. It works. Tonight's, Cardinal Hall Council (weren't we gonna change the name?) is throwing a party in the Cardinal Cage. Free pizza, costume contest, the whole shebang.
