Gone Clubbin'

Last night, I went to Bambi's, a gay club here in Saginaw. Tim O'Malley (friend) was having his birthday celebration there. Alisha and Laine begged me to go.

So I did.

Aside from the drag queen and strippers, it wasn't *that* bad. I don't plan on going again, though.

How many dice would you like to roll?

I swear, if I have to make one more dice roller or coin flipper for my Visual BASIC .NET class, I'm gonna flip out.

I want to learn to make something useful, dammit!

Dancin' Fool

So, Melissa has a Play Station. Mary Jo went to FuncoLand and bought "Dance Dance Revolution Konamix" and 2 dance pads. I've been dancing with them occasionally, and it's lots of fun. My friend Jeff also loaned us his copy of "Dance Dance Revolution", so there's plenty of songs to go around.

There are only 3 weeks of classes left, and exams are the week after. I can't wait for this semester to be over.

Hmmm... Where's Catherine Zeta-Jones?

Despite the fact that I bought a T-Mobile phone, Catherine Zeta-Jones has not yet visited me. :-/

I've spent the last week or so fooling around with my new phone, the Sony-Ericsson T68i and I must say that I love it. I was afraid it would be hard to use because that's what I've read on the 'Net. Its menu system is supposed to be a nightmare.

After about an hour, I (having never before owned a cellphone (maybe to my benefit)) mastered the phone's navigation.

For the life of me, I couldn't get my Sony Clie to beam via Infrared my contacts to the phone. I did a soft-reset of the Clie and it works now.

I've got my T-Zones set up to check my email, but, ummmm... that's a terrible idea, because, not only does it have an email client, but I get an SMS (and thus, a ring and a vibrate) for every piece of spam I get. I gotta turn that off...

I love this phone. It has built-in Bluetooth. I can't afford a Bluetooth PDA, so I'm waiting patiently for my money to accumulate so that I can buy a Mac and use iSync.

Now, about that money... I've learned that my job is likely to be terminated on May 31, or, as the memo said, my "appointment" will "end". *Sniffle*

Vroom vroom!

I am now the proud owner of a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville. After driving two Chevy Caprice Classics, I am sooo happy to have this car. It has power everything and the A/C works! w00t!

Dad found my car on Sunday. We went and looked at it later that night. Dad took me back home to SVSU Monday morning because I had to work. Dad took the car for a test-drive and Mom called and said that it was worth buying. Tuesday, Dad and Grandpa came an picked me up, and took me to the bank so I could withdraw money to buy the car. Later that night, we went and got it. Yay! It needs a CD player, and hopefully, I can do that soon. I guess my new computer will have to wait... I owe Mom and Dad some money for this car.

Dad got it road-legal today after visiting the Secretary of State's office and the insurance office.

On a side note, why does the government charge sales tax on cars you buy from other people? They don't charge sales tax at yard sales. I don't see how it's any different.
