Saturday was pretty cool. I got new contacts (finally) and am just now getting used to them. My eyes require the same contact prescription, but my old glasses have a different prescription for each eye, so for a while, with the contacts, my vision was a bit fuzzy.
After that, Amy and I high-tailed it to Grand Rapids. We took M-20 to M-66, except we overshot M-66 (30th avenue) by a LOT. We were about 5 to 7 minutes past 120th (!!) avenue before we decided to turn around. M-66 was obscured by construction.
Wy were we going to Grand Rapids? Well, really, we were going to Allendale and the campus of GVSU to attend JAFAX. There were a bunch of otaku (read: anime geeks) there. It was... ummm... BORING.
Later, we met up with Erik (Amy's brother) for dinner and a trip to Barnes and Noble Booksellers. I bought "X-Men: The Ultimate Guide (Updated)".
After that, we went to the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant [It's on the Chippewa (Ojibway) Reservation, hence this entry's title]. I came out only a few dollars behind.
I had fun :)

OK, I am not getting enough sleep. Reinstalling MovableType tonight is just one of the things that keeps me up.
Bleurgh...

Oh, my grades are all on Cardinal Direct.
Here goes:
- Visual Basic .NET Programming: A
- Chemistry and Society: B+
- History of Michigan: F
- Finite Mathematics: F
Cummulative GPA: 3.1
Not that bad...
I'm taking Finite Mathematics again this summer semester because it's a prerequisite for Computer Programming II (C++).

OK, so Pine Grove is not closer to work than the Living Center. Not by any means. I'm approved to work 40 hours a week! Go me.
My apartment is sweet. There are bunkbeds in here, but I think I am gonna try and move one. There is really no room in my bedroom. There's also way too much furniture in the living room.
Arthur's not gonna be here until this weekend, I think, but he's got his stuff here already.
My phone number here is 2839. Write it down.
Hopefully, I can go home this weekend. I'm supposed to help in the kitchen at Mrs. B's wedding reception.
Matt came over tonight. We chilled at the mall for a bit, then he gave me some food from his house.
It's all good.

I hate the end of the semester. Exams suck. This semester, I have four exams in four classes over a span of four days. How much crappier can things get? I'm not doin' the hottest in my Math class and am already planning on retaking it in the summer. Yuck.
Tonight was the Housing Leadership Banquet. Carrie, my Hall Director, gave me an aromatherapy dodad. I let my sister borrow it. Whatever.
Minda borrowed my car tonight so she can drive somewhere. Her car's not too reliable and doesn't want to take it long distances.
Mom and Dad are supposed to pick me up this afternoon (hey, it's after midnight) and take me to Minda's softball game. I should go to at least one...
In addition to that, this weekend, I'm going to see the movie Donnie Darko with Melissa, Mike, and Mary Jo. The theater does this "Rerun Film Festival" every so often. Last time, we saw The Princess Bride.
I also want to go to K-Mart and exchange some pots and pans I won from the University Residence Association auction. I already have a cook set, so I'll probably get a store voucher for it. I may buy a non-stick skillet, because I don't have one of those. I also want Evanesence's new CD, but there are a lot of CD's on my list, and most of them are already a year old. I can't afford buying music... Ha.
I want to cycle into a new wardrobde this summer, so I am going to start this weekend buying all new t-shirts from Old Navy via Amazon.com
I found out the other day that over the summer, my assignment is the Pine Grove Apartment complex. It's not where I wanted to be, but it's a lot closer to the building in which I work.
P.S. Did I mention that I can't wait for this semester to be over?
