I spent this weekend in Baltimore, Maryland. Otakon 2003 was my first... and probably my last Otakon. I'm not an otaku. I don't pretend to be one. I had fun, but that sort of thing ain't my bag, baby.
I dressed as Sailor Mars from the "Sailor Moon" cartoon. I had an awesome costume. Amy helped me make it :) I got lots of weird looks and lots of people took my picture. It was probably because I didn't shave as part of the costume. :D

If you see a picture of me out on the web, put a link in my comments!
We got to the Tremont Plaza Hotel in Baltimore on Thursday, attended the Con on Friday and Saturday and had to leave extra-early on Sunday so that I could get back in time for dinner.
I had dinner at the house of the Director of Residential Life for Saginaw Valley State University. Hehehe... doesn't that make me sound important? It was a casual dinner with the rest of the Residential Life staff for the upcoming year. We had food (great beans, MJ :D) then did an introduction/icebreaker thingy. It was fun.
I came back and got my key from Sara, my RHD this year and am now going to get started moving some stuff over to my new room in the Living Center NORTH. This year, I will be living in 311. Come visit!
Mom and Dad are coming down tomorrow to help me finish moving (heh... some football player started moving in on Thursday... his stuff is in my closet :| ... ). I can't wait to be back to the LC :D
