I won the "'90s at Noon" Snack Attack today on 102.5 WIOG FM. The question was something along the lines of:
What group signed to Atlantic Records was originally named "Mighty Joe Young"?
I never would have gotten the answer without Google. The correct answer is Stone Temple Pilots.
I won a free pizza from Little Caesar's. I can pick up my prize on Friday. Somebody remind me so that I don't forget! :)
While I was on hold, waiting for the DJ to get my information, the radio broadcast was playing over the phone. Of course, while I was listening, they did a test of the Emergency Alert System. You know that annoying beep thing? Yea, that blared into my ear. :(
