Last Friday, I went to a midnight showing of "The Fantastic 4" (so I guess it was actually Saturday) in Midland with Chelsea. I made the mistake of mentioning it to Josh so he followed us and sat next to me. He was not invited :P.
Later on Saturday (after several hours of sleep), I met Mike and Mel in Saginaw and we tried out the new restaurant that opened near Target and Circuit City called Yiannis Diner. They have one page dedicated to foreign/ethnic foods. I had the chicken tikka. It was really good.
We went to the mall to hang out while we waited for our movie. I found some nice jewelry I really wanted at J.B. Robinson: a platinum link bracelet and a platinum ring. I was going to apply for credit but it would have made us late for the movie. I'll get it sometime, I swear.
We saw "War of the Worlds". Personally, I didn't think it was that great. It was two hours of Tom Cruise running from aliens.
I thought "Fantastic 4" was a much better movie and it seems other people agree with me as the media report that the movie was responsible for busting the movie slump.
