Bluetooth and Palm Tungsten|T2

OK, so, today I got my new PalmOne Tungsten|T2. It’s totally awesome and I got a great deal on it from Beach Camera. It looks like their prices just went up! I was just in time! :-D

Anyhoo, I’ve been trying to figure out how to get this thing to surf the web by sharing a connection with my computer and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t figure it out. Many websites offering instructions required downloading extra software, or their solutions just plain didn’t work.

Then I found these wonderful instructions (PDF format). I can now surf the web when I’m anywhere within range of my computer’s Bluetooth waves (about 30 feet, give or take). I can also check my email! I’m sooo excited :-D.

I have been tinkering with the idea of getting something like that... but I always go back to all my previous PDA's and how they never go used past 2 weeks of the purchase. I think now with the better technology and camera's and such there might be more to them but I am still not sure. Post up as to how much you are actually using it... PLEASE :)

I use my PDA all the time. In fact, I use it to take notes in class. The T|T2 doesn't have a camera, but I'm thinking about buying a one that plugs into the SD slot.

Randy, what about your other PDAs? They weren't used much. In fact, before you broke your last one, it went unused for quite a while. The only reason you're using it now is because it's new. Wait a few months before you say "I use it all the time". And you can't take notes that often with it, since you don't go to class that often... :)

Logtar, if you haven't used it much in the past, I'd say don't waste your money. They don't have THAT many features that would make you do a 180. Buy some nice accessories for your computer, or another hobby, you'll probably use it more.

It went unused because I didn't have any reason to use it. I still kept addresses and stuff in it, but I didn't have events to plan to use the Date Book, so it went unused cuz at the time, I didn't have much use for it.
